Golf tourney raises funds for wounded warriors, hospiceCARLSBAD ---- One hundred and forty-four golfers demonstrated their support for two worthwhile charities during a tournament on Aug. 4 at El Camino Country Club. It was a beautiful but warm day for golf and, as the golfers returned to the club, refreshing cocktails and a dinner. Gift bags included four cigars, golf balls and hats, and certificates for dining at area restaurants.
Hospital foundation honors its most generous supportersCARLSBAD ---- Generous supporters of Tri-City Medical Center were honored by the Tri-City Hospital Foundation at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara on July 30.
