Helping Children and Families in North San Diego and Southwest Riverside counties

The North County Times Charities Fund was founded in 1991 by the North County Times and the McCormick Foundation to benefit local children and families in need.
Thanks to donations from the community, the newspaper and significant matching funds from the McCormick Foundation, more than $7.4 million has been granted to worthy nonprofit agencies in North San Diego and Southwest Riverside counties since the inception of the fund.
One hundred percent of donations raised and matching funds goes directly to charitable agencies. Not one penny is spent on administrative costs. All expenses are paid for by the North County Times and the Foundation.
